Dr. Elizabeth Jobe Practice Owner, DVM, CCRP, cVMA

Dr. Elizabeth Jobe was born and raised in the South, near Atlanta, Georgia, though she doesn’t have a southern accent to prove it! Her family knew she would become a veterinarian upon the discovery of her sleeping outside in the doghouse with the family pets as a child. Dr. Jobe grew up playing soccer and competed for the USA National team and Clemson University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal and Veterinary Sciences in 2007. Upon graduation, Dr. Jobe attended The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2012.

Excited to get out West and to be in the mountains, Dr. Jobe moved to Santa Fe, NM to start her veterinary career; however, her love for physical therapy and sports medicine led her to pursue a more specialized career as the Rehabilitation Director and Medical Director for multiple hospitals in the northern Denver, CO area. Dr. Jobe then moved to Tucson and worked as both Rehabilitation Director and General Practitioner from 2016-2023, and after over a decade in the field decided the calling for ownership was the right fit. The Bailey Veterinary Medical Center was born to honor her 17-year-old dog, Bailey, who has slept under her desk and been a mascot every day at work since she became a veterinarian.

Due to numerous knee surgeries from soccer injuries, Dr. Jobe spent a lot of time in physical therapy igniting her passion and appreciation for physical medicine. She received her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) in 2013 through the advanced training program with the University of Tennessee and received her certification as a Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist (cVMA) with Colorado State University in 2014. Additionally, Dr. Jobe completed the Canine Course with the International Academy of Medical Massage for Animals in 2013. She is a Certified Fear Free Practitioner, USDA Accredited Veterinarian and member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Whenever she’s not in the office, you can find Dr. Jobe mountain biking with her husband Kelvin. Downtime involves cooking, reading, and relaxing with her AKC Canine Good Citizen named Bailey, who dances for her morning kibble, cool-cat Baloo, who doubles as a fur scarf at night, and McFly, the Siberian Forest Cat who likes jumping in the shower!

Dr. Carine Klimentidis DVM

Dr Carine Klimentidis was born in New York and raised in Texas where she spent a lot of time riding horses and developing a deep love and appreciation for nature and animals. She attended The Awty International School in Houston where her studies were conducted in French and English, with some in Spanish as well. She attended Texas A&M University and obtained her undergraduate degree as well as her veterinary degree.

She has twenty years of experience working in general practice caring for dogs and cats from New York to Baltimore to Tucson and she is excited to bring all of her knowledge, compassion and experience to the clients and patients of The Bailey Vet.

She is passionate about fear free care for cats and dogs, and will make sure your pets’ experiences are as pleasant and stress free as possible using only positive reinforcement, food or toy distraction and sedation when needed.
She is very invested in continuing education and tries to attend at least one big national conference each year to bring her patients the latest and best care possible.

At home, she pampers her two cats Mowgli and Bagheera who were abandoned as kittens in a cardboard box and tends to her small terrier Louie who keeps her on her toes with his never ending stream of shenanigans.

She loves to travel, especially to Greece and France which are part of her heritage.
